The Hogan family was having quite the day Sunday, but one giant surprise made it a whole lot better.

The Hogans attended the New England Patriots’ game against the Tennessee Titans at Gillette Stadium, thanks to tickets supposedly paid for by their son, Army Staff Sgt. Shawn Hogan.

As far as the family knew, Hogan was stationed at the U.S. embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia. So, at the very least, the tickets were a nice gesture. Even better, however, was the video played inside the stadium of Hogan wishing his family happy holidays.

Of course, by now, you know where this is going. As the video came to an end — with Hogan yelling “Go Patriots!” — he was quickly ushered down the stadium stairs where he surprised his family with a return for the holidays.
