The beards are coming.

Joe Thornton, Logan Couture and the San Jose Sharks advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2011 with a 5-0 Game 7 shutout of the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.

Five different Sharks scored goals, and Logan Couture finished with a game-high three points on a goal and two assists. Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau each had a goal and an assist apiece.

This 4-on-1 goal was sort of a microcosm of the night.

The Sharks will face the St. Louis Blues, who defeated the Dallas Stars earlier this week in a Game 7 of their own.
