Rob Gronkowski Wants A Piece Of Shaquille O’Neal In A 3-Point Contest

Rob Gronkowski evidently was paying attention to Tuesday night’s “NBA on TNT” broadcast when host Ernie Johnson shockingly defeated 11-time NBA All-Star Charles Barkley in a 3-point contest.

The New England Patriots tight end not only tweeted his approval of the 1-on-1 competition. He also issued a challenge to one of the duo’s colleagues, Shaquille O’Neal.

O’Neal is arguably the most dominant big man in NBA history, but the 15-time All-Star made only one of his 22 career 3-point attempts. It’s reasonable to think that despite being known for his gridiron prowess rather than getting buckets, Gronk might be able to take down Shaq from beyond the arc.

Perhaps we won’t have to wait long to find out.
