Both Managers Get Ejected For Separate Tirades During Minor League Game

Minor League Baseball manager meltdowns are like nothing else, and the Helena Brewers and Great Falls Voyagers graced us with two in one game.

Both managers were ejected during Sunday’s game between the Milwaukee Brewers’ and Chicago White Sox’s rookie ball affiliates, and it all started with the Voyagers’ Tommy Thompson. Voyagers second baseman Jake Jarvis was called out despite the Brewers’ second baseman dropping the ball, so Thompson responded by flipping out and throwing his hat and lineup card.

Thompson was ejected in the fourth inning, and it was Brewers manager Nestor Corridor’s turn in the ninth. Corridor was upset by a caught stealing call at third base, and he responded by screaming at the umpire before going back to the dugout and throwing a chair.

It’s going to be hard for any other minor league skippers to top that.
