Apparently, the recruiting process for LeBron James’ oldest son already has begun. And a couple of big name programs have thrown their hats into the ring.

LeBron James Jr. has standing scholarship offers from both Duke and Kentucky, a source told ESPN. It’ll be a while before James Jr. suits up for the Blue Devils, the Wildcats or some other college team, though, as he’s just 11 years old.

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of schools recruiting the youngster. James told CBS Sports’ Mike Sullivan in 2015 that his son already received some offers from colleges, though the Cleveland Cavaliers star didn’t specify which programs at the time.

“It’s pretty crazy,” James said, per Sullivan. “It should be a violation, you shouldn’t be recruiting 10-year-old kids.”

In any event, it’s probably wise for schools to keep James Jr. on their radars at such a young age, even if there’s something a little off about going to such great lengths to monitor an 11-year-old’s basketball progress. His father, who just guided the Cavs to their first NBA title in franchise history, is one of the greatest players of all time.

And James Jr. really does have some skills, judging by the videos below.
