Jon Jones is coming back to the UFC soon?

That’s what he’s expecting, according to an Instagram video he recently posted. The former UFC light heavyweight champion since has deleted the post, but that doesn’t mean it’s gone forever.

“I’m sure you guys are curious about what’s going on with this USADA situation,” Jones said in the deleted video, per MMA Junkie’s Chamatkar Sandhu. “Obviously, I can’t get into it because it’s still pending, but what I can say is that we have found out lots of really good news and I am expecting to be back in the octagon really soon.”

Jones was removed from his much-anticipated UFC 200 bout with Daniel Cormier in July because he tested positive for banned substances.

Cormier fought Anderson Silva instead and won via unanimous decision.

Jones is one of the UFC’s best and most recognizable fighters, but away-from-the-octagon issues have plagued his career over the last year or so. If Jones does return soon, it wouldn’t be surprising if he received a title shot rather quickly.
