The David Ortiz farewell tour arrives at its final road stop Tuesday when the Boston Red Sox visit the New York Yankees while trying to clinch the American League East.

And how sweet would it be to see Big Papi say goodbye to New York with a champagne shower in the clubhouse celebrating a division crown?

It’ll certainly cap a wonderful career for Ortiz in the Bronx, as he has taken advantage of the new Yankee Stadium’s short right field porch by belting 15 home runs. In fact, 13 of his 15 bombs at Yankee Stadium went to right or right-center field.

Ortiz also had success in the old Yankee Stadium, hitting 16 career home runs while batting .316. His most important round-tripper in New York, however, came in the 2004 ALCS when he homered in Game 7 en route to the Red Sox’s first World Series championship in 86 years.
