Mike Francesa Destroys Rex And Rob Ryan, Buffalo Bills In Epic Rant

Most people either love or hate Mike Francesa, but the WFAN host’s latest rant about the Buffalo Bills can be appreciated by anyone. Even Bills fans, probably.

In case you haven’t been following along with the Bills, they’re currently 0-2, and they look like an 0-2 team. Buffalo’s offense failed to show up at all in its 13-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, but they bounced back Thursday, only to watch their defense get annihilated by the New York Jets 37-31. And that apparently was reason enough to fire offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

So, basically, the Bills are a mess after just two weeks, and Francesa went in on the team Monday on WFAN. Namely, head coach Rex Ryan and his assistant head coach and twin brother, Rob.

“(Former Jets general manager John Idzik) allowed Rex to take no blame for any of the things that went on in the years that he was there instead of pointing to the fact that Rex hasn’t had a winning year now in five years,” Francesa said. “… The general manager has played himself into a new contract, so he’s started to divorce himself from Rex already. That thing is chaotic, and with the two Ryans there, you know there’s a chance — because here’s what’s going to happen. This’ll be next. The defense will get scorched again, and here’s what the owner will do: I want you to get rid of your brother. Now, is Rex going to walk the plank, or is he going to get rid of his brother?”

The 10-minute tirade ends with Francesa unable to contain his laughter over the fact that the Bills have to take on the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots in the next two weeks, so it’s safe to say Francesa isn’t very high on Buffalo.
