Cubs second baseman Javier Baez had provided several memorable moments before Chicago took on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series at Wrigley Field on Saturday night.
The most notable one was his game-winning home run against the San Francisco Giants from Game 1 of the NL Division Series.
Baez added perhaps his most incredible highlight Saturday night when he stole home.
It was the Cubs’ first steal of home in the playoffs since 1907.
The Cubs went on to win 8-4 and took a 1-0 series lead. Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday.
