Berkshire Bank Hockey Night In New England: Projected Bruins-Lightning Lines, Pairings

The Boston Bruins are in Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning on Thursday night at Amalie Arena in search of their first three-game win streak of the season.

One notable change to the Bruins’ lineup is Matt Beleskey sitting out as a healthy scratch.

Beleskey, and the third line as a whole, has struggled mightily to produce offense this season. It appears Beleskey will be the first to sit after tallying zero points and just 12 shots on goal through nine games.

The B’s haven’t scored more than two goals in six straight games, but they still went 3-3-0 in that span because of Tuukka Rask’s excellent play in net. The Bruins goalie is 5-0-0 with a .961 save percentage this season.

Here are the projected lineups for both teams.

BOSTON BRUINS (5-4-0)
Brad Marchand–Patrice Bergeron–David Pastrnak
Ryan Spooner–David Krejci–Austin Czarnik
Sean Kuraly–Riley Nash–Jimmy Hayes
Tim Schaller–Dominic Moore–Noel Acciari

Zdeno Chara–Brandon Carlo
Torey Krug–Adam McQuaid
John-Michael Liles–Colin Miller

Tuukka Rask

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING (6-4-0)
Ondrej Palat–Steven Stamkos–Nikita Kucherov
Alex Killorn–Tyler Johnson–Brayden Point
Ryan Callahan–Valtteri Filppula–J.T. Brown
Brian Boyle–Cedric Paquette–Vladislav Namestnikov

Victor Hedman–Anton Stralman
Jason Garrison–Andrej Sustr
Slater Koekkoek–Braydon Coburn
