Watch Conor McGregor Storm Octagon, Go After Referee At Bellator 187

Conor McGregor is out of his mind.

The UFC lightweight champion stormed the octagon to celebrate immediately after teammate Charlie Ward defeated John Redmond in the first round at Bellator 187 in Dublin on Friday. The fun quickly turned into chaos, however, when referee Marc Goddard addressed McGregor, prompting The Notorious to shove and go after the veteran official.

McGregor, who wasn’t a licensed cornerman, eventually exited the cage without going to blows with Goddard, but this isn’t the first time the two have had issues. Goddard briefly stopped a fight between Andre Fili and McGregor’s longtime teammate, Artem Lobov, last month because the UFC champ became very animated outside the cage. Goddard determined that McGregor, who wasn’t a licensed cornerman for Lobov, could provide an unfair advantage and thus made him leave the area.
