The Boston Red Sox have the chance to add to an already talented farm system with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.
Boston makes its selection when the draft begins on Sunday night during All-Star weekend, this year held in Arlington, Texas.
The Red Sox already built their future on prospects such as Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kyle Teel. Now, another first-round selection adds to one of the sport's better farm system.
With just days to go until the draft, a number of draft experts took their best swing at predicting who the Red Sox will take when they go on the clock on Sunday night.

Jonathan Mayo, MLB Pipeline
Prediction: Christian Moore - 2B, Tennessee
"The Red Sox would love it for one of the dozen players selected above to reach them, and let's face it, that usually happens," Mayo wrote. "But in this scenario, Moore appears to be the best of the next group that is very college-hitter heavy. Boston might also look at Florida State's Cam Smith from that demographic or (Trey) Yesavage from the college arm bucket.
Keith Law, The Athletic
Prediction: James Tibbs III - OF, Florida State
"Tibbs has probably been the biggest riser among college players this year, as he's had more homers than strikeouts for Florida State and model-heavy teams seem to love him," Law wrote. "Also, shame of everyone if we don't nickname him King Tibbs III."

Kiley McDaniel, ESPN
Prediction: Christian Moore - 2B, Tennessee
"There's been a lot of heat for Moore coming off the board with this pick during his rise throughout the end of the regular season into the college postseason," McDaniel wrote. "Boston seems to be in a similar spot to Detroit, hoping to grab one of the top 10 talents who happen to fall out of the top 10 picks, with a bias toward hitters with some power. Moore and (Nick) Kurtz both fit that focus with hitters on power.
