49ersThe St. Louis Rams host the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football” to wrap up Week 6 of the NFL season. San Francisco opened as a 4-point favorite, and the line has hovered near there most of the week. Most sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com have the line around 49ers -3.5 or -4. The total opened at 43.5, and is ranging between that and 44.5.

The 49ers are 8-1 against the spread in their last nine MNF games, although their loss came in their most recent appearance. Last December they defeated Atlanta 34-24 as a 14-point favorite at Candlestick Park. The 49ers have been a strong road team under Jim Harbaugh, going 7-1-1 in their last nine games as road favorites. However, the 49ers are 1-3 their last four road games at St. Louis.

If you are looking to bet on the point total, the 49ers have gone UNDER in four of five games they have played this season. The Rams have gone OVER in 10 of their last 15 home games, but they have gone UNDER in 7 of their last 9 total games.

The OddsShark Computer predicts a 25-18 win for the 49ers, which would hit the UNDER just barely but have the 49ers score a relatively easy cover.

The Rams will be without backup cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson and Brandon McGee. There was mild concern about Zac Stacy missing practice Thursday with a groin injury. However, he completed full practices Friday and Saturday and is fully expected to play Monday.

The 49ers will be without starting cornerback Tramaine Brock and right tackle Anthony Davis. Brock has been out since suffering a turf toe injury in Week 1. Davis suffered a sprained MCL in Week 4. Both are likely out until after the 49ers’ Week 8 bye.

The 49ers will likely welcome back tight end Vernon Davis for their matchup with the Rams. He suffered a back injury in Week 4 and missed Week 5. After sitting out all three Week 5 practices, he was limited in all three Week 6 practice sessions. That has usually been enough for him to get back on the field after recent injuries.
