Percy HarvinThe Seattle Seahawks travel to face the Washington Redskins on “Monday Night Football” to wrap up Week 5 of the NFL schedule. Seattle opened as a seven-point favorite, and the line has climbed a notch to 7.5 points or eight points at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The total opened at 45.5 and has hung steady all week.

The Seahawks are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games and also in their last five road games. Washington is 4-8 ATS in its last 12 games and 2-4 ATS in its last six home games. Seattle is 3-1-1 ATS in its last five against Washington.

If you are looking to bet on the point total, the OddsShark NFL Database indicates the OVER is 8-1 in Seattle?s last nine games on the road after a bye week. In one interesting trend, the Patriots-Bengals Week 5 “Sunday Night Football” game was the 10th straight prime-time game to go OVER the total.

The OddsShark.com computer predicts a 34-13 Seattle blowout victory. That would cover the spread and once again hit the OVER on the total.

Seattle?s most notable injury is that of tight end Zach Miller. During the team?s Week 4 bye, Miller had his ankle scoped. Seattle is hoping Miller will only miss a couple games. Luke Willson will start in his place. Marshawn Lynch is listed as probable, but that was strictly due to a veteran?s day off Wednesday.

Washington has several notable players listed as questionable. Left tackle Trent Williams strained his right knee, but an MRI revealed no structural damage. Head coach Jay Gruden is hopeful Williams will play.

Washington?s two most notable tight ends, Jordan Reed and Niles Paul, are both questionable. Reed is dealing with a hamstring injury and sat out Saturday?s practice after being limited Thursday and Friday. Paul suffered a concussion in Week 4 on “Thursday Night Football” and reportedly has passed through the concussion protocol. He is expected to play Monday.

Finally, starting left guard Shawn Lauvao is listed as questionable. He suffered a knee strain in Week 2. He started in Week 3, but he had to leave the game and then was inactive in Week 4. His status is looking like a game-time decision.
