The Boston Celtics will look to hand the Cleveland Cavaliers their third consecutive loss when they face off against LeBron James and Co. on Tuesday night as 10.5-point underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Tuesday night?s Celtics vs. Cavaliers betting matchup at Quicken Loans Arena marks the start of a hectic seven-day stretch during which Boston plays five times, including three road games this weekend.

The Celtics hit the court Tuesday still outside the Eastern Conference playoff picture, trailing the Brooklyn Nets by one and a half games after falling 106-101 at home to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

The loss halted Boston?s three-game straight-up win streak, but they covered as eight-point home underdogs at the sportsbooks to record their fourth straight against-the-spread victory and improve to 15-4 against the spread in their last 19 games.

The Celtics have been a strong wager when pegged as heavy NBA betting underdogs this season, going 7-0 ATS in their last seven as underdogs of seven or more points, and 12-4 overall in 2014-15.

Boston faces a Cavaliers squad that’s lost two straight SU and ATS, ending their recent four-game SU and ATS win streak. However, Cleveland has compiled an impressive 18-4 SU record (16-6 ATS) since mid-January.

Boston is 7-3 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games against Cleveland, including a 122-121 loss at home in mid-November in which they covered as six-point underdogs.

Following Monday?s NHL trade deadline the Boston Bruins are idle until Thursday when they take on the Calgary Flames.

The Bruins start the week with a slim two-point lead on the Florida Panthers for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and remain a 14-1 bet on the odds to win the Stanley Cup despite tallying just three wins in their last 10 games.

Boston faces a Flames squad that is also fighting for their playoff lives and start the week with just one win in their last five outings.

The Boston College Eagles finish off their regular-season schedule Saturday when they take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The Eagles ended a nine-game SU losing streak this past weekend with a 79-63 upset win over North Carolina State before topping Virginia Tech 66-59 on Monday.

The victories extended Boston College’s current ATS win streak to three; however they are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games against the Deacons according to the OddsShark College Basketball Database.
