The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens enter the Winter Classic heading in opposite directions.
Despite a three-game losing streak, Boston has played very well over the last month and a half. The B’s have taken points from 15 of their last 19 games, vaulting them within three points of the first-place Canadiens in the Atlantic Division with three games in hand on their rivals entering Tuesday.
Montreal, meanwhile, is 2-8-0 in its last 10 games, and goaltending has been a major concern.
NESN.com’s Zack Cox and Nicholas Goss talked about the Bruins-Canadiens Winter Classic matchup in our latest NHL/Bruins podcast. They also discussed other Winter Classic topics, including potential teams and venues for 2017.
