The New England Patriots will square off against the Indianapolis Colts — not the Denver Broncos — in the AFC Championship Game after IndianapolisĀ upset DenverĀ in the AFC divisional round.

Many expected a Patriots-Broncos rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game, but that doesn’t mean the Colts should be taken lightly. The AFC’s No. 4 seed enters Sunday’s contest having won seven of its last eight contests, capped by playoff wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and Broncos.

The top-seeded Patriots handled the Colts easily in Week 11, but this is the NFL playoffs, and Andrew Luck’s squad could prove harder to tame this time around.

So what do the Patriots need to do to advance to their eighth Super Bowl in franchise history? NESN.com’s Darren Hartwell teamed up with NESN.com Patriots beat writer Doug Kyed to break it all down in the podcast below.
