Making its first ever appearance in the East Region Tournament, Barre, Vt., will subsequently be looking to become the first Vermont team to make the Little League World Series. After defeating some of the top teams in the state, Barre certainly has some high hopes.
The team won nine straight through district and state to advance to the East Regional. After dominating opponents in its first three district games, Barre went on to win six games decided by two-runs or less. The team's pitching staff can hold off opponent's late charges and the offense can score key runs when needed.
