The San Clemente American Number 2 Little League team began the season as the team no one seemed to want to coach. The squad ended the season on top, as champions, thanks to a pair of unlikely coaches.
When no parents or adults came forward to coach the team, 15-year-old Chris Puckett and 14-year-old Cameron Shelley stepped up to the plate and took on the job.
The two coaches, who aren't much older than their players, were winless in their first two games at the helm. However, the team quickly turned things around, winning the District 68 Tournament of Champions.
