The Phillies mascot has been sued for allegedly throwing a woman into a hotel pool in July 2010. The woman, Suzanne Pierce, claims she was hurt pretty badly after landing in the shallow end, suffering "severe and permanent injuries to her head, neck, back, body, arms and legs, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and tissues."
A spokeswoman for the Phillies said the team is aware of the lawsuit but does not believe the mascot engaged in "wrongful conduct."
