When you make as much money as Drake does, a fancy jewelry collection isn't out of the ordinary. The rapper's most recent addition, however, is rather special.
Drake posted a photo on his Instagram account of a Kentucky Wildcats championship ring. On the side of the ring, the team's record is inscribed, along with the word "Drizzy" — the rapper's other alias.
Now, Drake didn't really contribute much — or anything — to Kentucky's championship run this season, but he has been spotted alongside head coach John Calipari in the past. Perhaps giving Drake a ring is some sort of attempt to further enhance recruiting, as he's a big name to associate with the program, even if he makes little difference basketball-wise.
Then again, Kentucky isn't really having much recruiting trouble, so it's more likely just a nice gesture.
Check out Drake's new piece of championship jewelry in the photo below.
