The Tigers are currently ranked No. 11 in the country, and they’ll welcome Furman to Clemson on Saturday afternoon in a game that can be seen live on NESNplus at 3 p.m. The game will also be broadcast on NESN on tape delay following Red Sox-Blue Jays coverage.
One player to watch will be Tigers running back Andre Ellington. The junior ran wild with over 200 yards rushing in Clemson’s first game of the season, a win over Auburn. He followed that up with a two-touchdown performance in a rout of Ball State last week. Expect another big game out of DeAndre Hopkins, too, as he followed up a 13-catch season debut with three touchdowns last week.
