LeBron James Shows Off Hops With Monster Alley-Oop in Heat Loss to Grizzlies (Video)

LeBron James, please participate in this year’s NBA slam dunk contest — sincerely, every NBA fan.

James threw down a monster alley-oop in Memphis off a dish from point guard Mario Chalmers. James may be competing with Gerald Green for best hops in the NBA.

James finished the game with a double-double, scoring twenty points with 10 rebounds and six assists. The Heat lost 104-86 to Memphis. The Heat are now 5-2 on the season. The Grizzlies stand at 5-1.

Perhaps the best part of the video of James’ dunk is how little of a reaction it got out of Memphis’ play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica. To him, it was just another play that tied the game.
