Northeastern will host Boston University in its season opener on Friday. But before looking ahead, fans are encouraged to check out the Huskies’ offseason, which was very eventful.
NU released a four-part video series to document the basketball team’s eight-day summer trip to Canada. While north of the border, the Huskies faced some fierce competition and came together as a team.
In the fourth and final episode, the Huskies suffered their only loss and enjoyed their biggest win. And while losses are always tough to swallow, head coach Bill Coen saw the subpar performance as a valuable learning experience.
“I felt with that game we would get the biggest growth opportunity, because we did lose,” Coen said. “When you lose, you look at yourself in a different light and you look for those areas to improve upon.”
