It may be Valentine’s Day, but love wasn’t in the air Wednesday night for Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim and ESPN reporter Andy Katz.
Following Syracuse’s tough loss to UConn on Wednesday night, Katz asked a seemingly harmless question about the rivalry between the two teams coming to a close. But Boeheim refused to answer his questions, calling the reporter “really disloyal” and an “idiot.”
“There’s a few other things I could add, but I’m not gonna go there,” Boeheim added.
