Adam “Pacman” Jones took to Twitter Monday afternoon to break the news about his latest arrest.

The cornerback has managed to stay out of trouble for nearly two years — last getting arrested in July 2011 for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Jones tweeted that he was arrested for “protecting” himself. Adam Schefter of ESPN.com had more details on the arrest in a series of tweets.

Check out all the details below.

Jones was out of the league from 2007 to 2009 before catching back on with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010. He’s found new life in the league as a slot corner. He signed a three-year, $5.35 million deal in March with $1.5 million guaranteed to stay with the Bengals.
