Battling late into the third period of the Beanpot final to the tune of a 1-1 tie, Boston College and Northeastern were each looking for just one opportunity.
Boston College capitalized on theirs 14:30 into the third period, when forward and senior captain Patrick Brown tipped a shot from the point past Northeastern goalie Clay Witt.
The tip was made even more impressive by the fact that Brown tipped the puck from his back after being shoved down in front of the net. His hand-eye coordination skills were on full display as he managed to fall, keep track of the puck, and redirect it past Witt and into the net.
Boston College tacked on two empty net goals in the final minutes to extend their lead, with the final score favoring the Eagles, 4-1.
