Zach LaVine is considered a mid-to-late first-round pick in most NBA mock drafts, but after his recent display of athleticism, people might want to reconsider.
LaVine threw down a sweet behind-the-back jam after bouncing the ball to himself during a workout for the Los Angeles Lakers. He also showed off a 46-inch vertical the same day, and he says he’s jumped even higher before.
The former UCLA guard averaged 9.4 points per game last year, while shooting 48-for-128 from beyond the arc. He insisted that he’s “going in to win a spot” on an NBA team after the workout, and with ups like that, his odds seem pretty good.
