One of the surest signs that football season is just around the corner is EA Sports releasing their “Madden NFL Football” ratings.
The top 13 rookies were announced recently, and the list has a lot of people talking.
Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney topped the list, while Johnny Manziel didn’t even make the cut.
Although all of these ratings are only virtual results, they are based off a lot of research that is conducted — including college film reviews and scouting reports — to make them accurate.
But obviously anything can change once the rookies make their NFL debuts.
As the football world tries to digest these ratings, let’s take a look at the top 10 rookies who made the list, and a few first-year players who people think were snubbed.
