Roger Federer is not exactly known for his hockey skills, but one would think otherwise after seeing his talents in a celebrity charity ball hockey game.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion can boast that he was the one who scored a buzzer-beater goal in the game that featured NHL stars Phil Kessel and Jason Spezza.

Just look at that nice slap shot from the right circle. And there’s no showboating from Mr. Federer but rather a nice little low-key celebration.

The tennis icon admitted after the game that although he loves hockey, he doesn’t know how to skate, so this is probably where Federer’s hockey career comes to a close.

That said, he did use ball hockey as a training technique for tennis back in the day.
