Braves Fan Makes Amazing Home Run Catch With Popcorn Bucket (Video)

When a home run ball is launched off a bat and headed toward the seats, the instinctive reaction for fans is to raise a glove or bare hand in the air to catch the souvenir.

This Atlanta Braves fan catches his souvenirs a little differently, though.

During Friday night’s game between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets at Turner Field, Lucas Duda smacked a dinger to right field. As the ball approached the bleachers, the fan raised a full bucket of popcorn, and it plopped into the cylinder.

Here’s another look.

What’s incredible is that the man did a great job not spilling much of the popcorn. That said, one has to wonder if it’s good hygiene to eat popcorn that has been in contact with a dirty baseball.
