Report: Patriots Work Out Seven, Including Four Linebackers

NCAA Football: Connecticut at TempleThe New England Patriots’ search for linebacker depth reportedly continued Tuesday.

The Patriots worked out linebackers Yawin Smallwood, Moise Fokou, Adrian Tracy and Chris Young, ESPN’s Field Yates reported. They also tried out defensive tackle Sione Fua and defensive ends Brian Sanford and George Uko, according to Yates.

The Patriots dressed just one backup linebacker (Chris White) and one reserve defensive end (Zach Moore) on Sunday in the Patriots’ 33-20 Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins after deactivating Darius Fleming and Michael Buchanan.

White and Moore didn’t receive any defensive snaps against the Dolphins.
