Cowboys offensive lineThe Dallas Cowboys are one of the NFL’s best teams, and it’s no secret why.

The Cowboys’ early season success stems in large part from their vaunted rushing attack. DeMarco Murray seems to break a rushing record every week, and that has been a big reason why Dallas enters Week 7 with a 4-2 record.

However, Murray isn’t the sole reason the Cowboys’ rushing attack has been so potent. The offensive line has been fantastic. Some might even say that unit is the best in the NFL.

Former NFL lineman Chris Snee is one of those who believes the Cowboys’ O-line is at or near the top of the NFL. On a Sunday post for FootballByFootball.com, the former New York Giants lineman praised his former rivals.

“I didn’t set out to bring lofty expectations to the current Cowboys offensive line, but this year’s group comprised of Tyron Smith, Ronald Leary, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin and Doug Free have impressed me that much…and I’m not an easy guy to impress,” Snee wrote. “Three out of those five were 1st-round picks, which shows the Cowboys are willing to invest in top line talent.”
