Jessie Pegula received a text message Wednesday afternoon from her father that wasn’t your typical dad text.

Shortly after the NFL owners unanimously approved the sale of the Buffalo Bills to Terry Pegula — who also owns the Buffalo Sabres — for $1.4 billion, he sent a short, sweet and to-the-point text to his 20-year-old daughter filling her in on the news.

Three words is all it took for Pegula to share the momentous news. Ho-hum, we own an NFL team, just wanted to keep you in the loop.
