This year’s Rawlings Gold Glove winners were announced Tuesday, kicking off a stretch in which Major League Baseball’s best individual performers of 2014 will be recognized for their accomplishments. The finalists for the Baseball Writers’ Association of America awards — Most Valuable Player, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year — also were announced Tuesday.

American League and National League Rookie of the Year winners will be announced Monday. Manager of the Year, Cy Young and MVP winners will be announced, in that order, in the three days following.

Monday, Nov. 10: AL and NL Rookie of the Year
Tuesday, Nov. 11: AL and NL Manager of the Year
Wednesday, Nov. 12: AL and NL Cy Young
Thursday, Nov. 13: AL and NL MVP

Mike Trout, Clayton Kershaw, Victor Martinez and Jose Abreu are among those vying for hardware this year. The competition figures to be fierce, per usual, but a few of the awards are more tightly contested than others.
