FOXBORO, Mass. — Get ready to be on Brandon LaFell watch for the next two weeks.

The New England Patriots wide receiver was absent from practice Tuesday after injuring his left foot or ankle in Sunday’s 17-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

LaFell actually came back into the game after suffering the injury. The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin saw LaFell leaving Gillette Stadium in a walking boot, but the receiver denied the report Sunday in a since-deleted tweet.

Defensive tackle Sealver Siliga and left tackle Nate Solder also left the game with injuries. Both players were present at practice Tuesday.

LaFell has nearly two weeks to rest up before the Patriots’ first playoff game on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 4:35 p.m.
