When you get a shout-out in a rap lyric, it’s only natural to make a spin-off of that lyric into a song all about yourself.
That’s exactly what Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry did after Drake dropped the lines, “I been Steph Curry with the shot. Been cookin’ with the sauce, chef, curry with the pot, boy,” in his song “0 to 100/The Catch Up.” Curry joined his wife, Ayesha, who is a popular YouTube personality, in a video featuring their family’s version of the song.
