Jim Harbaugh reportedly is set to become the new head coach of Michigan football, and one of the school’s most prominent alums certainly appears pleased with the hire.

Shortly after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday that Harbaugh was en route to Ann Arbor to officially accept the Wolverines’ offer, Tom Brady posted the following on his highly active Facebook page.

Brady also discussed the prospect of Harbaugh rejoining his alma mater Monday morning in his weekly interview with WEEI’s “Dennis & Callahan,” saying it “would be phenomenal.”

Harbaugh, whose tenure with the San Francisco 49ers ended Sunday with a 20-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals, will be announced as Michigan’s next coach Tuesday, per Schefter’s sources. Schefter didn’t provide specifics on Harbaugh’s contract but did report that it will be the richest in college football history.
