FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots fans finally have a reason to be happy and optimistic.

Rookie center Bryan Stork returned to the practice field for the Patriots on Thursday after missing the AFC Championship Game with a knee injury. Stork suffered the injury in the divisional round of the playoffs in the Patriots’ 35-31 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

The Patriots had perfect attendance at practice 10 days away from Super Bowl XLIX against the Seattle Seahawks. They practiced in the Dana-Farber Field House in full pads.

Stork played in 14 games for the Patriots, starting 12, including the last nine games of the regular season.
