Cristiano Ronaldo, Irina Shayk Break Up After Five Years Of Dating

Cristiano Ronaldo is on the market this month. Calm down, Real Madrid fans and transfer junkies. Not that market.

Ronaldo and supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk, both 29, have ended their five-year relationship, according to the New York Post. Shayk was conspicuously absent from FIFA’s Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday, fanning rumors that the famous couple had split. Shayk’s representative confirmed Friday that the two have gone their separate ways.

“We can confirm Irina Shayk has ended her relationship to Cristiano Ronaldo,” Shayk’s representative told the New York Post.

Ronaldo hasn’t let his ups and downs with Shayk negatively affect his game. Ronaldo tore through the first half of the 2014-15 season with Real Madrid, earning his second-straight Ballon d’Or on the back of that success. The Portuguese superstar will has no shortage of admirers.

Shayk, a Russian supermodel, also will do just fine if and when she returns to the dating game.
