Brock Holt and his hot bat aren’t going anywhere at the moment.

The Boston Red Sox utility man will be in the lineup for the second straight day for his team’s Patriots’ Day matinee against the Baltimore Orioles. Holt — who is battingĀ .500 (12-for-24) on the season and owns a six-game hitting streak — will replace Pablo Sandoval at third base and bat eighth.

It will be the first off-day for Sandoval through 12 games this season.

Dustin Pedroia, who Holt filled in for in Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Baltimore,Ā will be back in the lineup at second base batting second. Shane Victorino will get the start in right field once again after missing Saturday’s contest with sore ribs. He’ll bat sixth.

Justin Masterson gets the start on the hill for Boston hoping to bounce back from a rough outing against the Washington Nationals last week. He’ll be opposed by Orioles pitcher Wei-Yin Chen, who has yet to earn a decision in two starts this season.
