Nobody was more fired up for Thursday night’s NIT championship game than Michael Irvin, and we mean nobody.
The former Dallas Cowboys star and Miami alum was on hand to root for his beloved Hurricanes as they took on Stanford for all the NIT marbles at Madison Square Garden. But “root” might be an understatement. Irvin became just as entertaining as the back-and-forth game, going through a range of emotions that ESPN blessed all of us with throughout its broadcast.
Irvin was a screaming machine when the ‘Canes came back from being down double digits to tie things up late in the second half.
So, uh, somebody should probably check on him today.
