Adrian Beltre reached another benchmark in his quest to punch his ticket to Cooperstown.

Beltre hit his 400th career home run Friday as the Texas Rangers squared off with the Cleveland Indians. The 36-year-old third baseman hit the notable homer off veteran left-hander Bruce Chen.

Beltre has played for four organizations — Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox — throughout his 18-year career. He has earned an All-Star selection in four of his last five seasons, starting with an impressive 2010 campaign with the Red Sox.

Beltre is a four-time Gold Glove winner and a four-time Silver Slugger winner who has finished in the top 15 in MVP voting six times throughout his illustrious career. There are plenty around Major League Baseball who already deem Beltre to be Hall of Fame-worthy, and his resume continues to grow.
