Website: Broncos Actually NFL's Biggest Cheaters; Patriots In Middle Of Pack

An oversensitive New England Patriots fan is out to prove that every NFL team — not just his — has cheated.

The website YourTeamCheats.com has become wildly popular — particularly among Patriots fans — in recent weeks, with New England the focal point of the entire sports world for Deflategate, the ensuing Wells Report and harsh punishments laid down by the NFL.

Not long after all of that, Internet commenters and NFL social media mavens started pointing out the website in an apparent attempt to deflect the heat the Patriots and their fans have taken since January when Deflategate began.

According to the website’s arbitrary rankings — its creators rank each team’s documented “cheats” for severity — the Patriots actually fall in the middle of the pack among the NFL’s biggest cheaters at No. 15.

Also — and we’re sure this is purely coincidental — here are the top four cheaters in the NFL, again per the site’s arbitrary rankings:

1. Denver Broncos
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. New York Jets
4. Indianapolis Colts

Coincidentally, those four teams probably would be considered the Patriots’ four biggest rivals. Not only that, the New York Giants — who have defeated the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl — come in at No. 6, and New England’s other biggest rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, come in at No. 7.

The website also lays out every single Super Bowl winner and explains how some of them cheated and why you can put an asterisk next to their title. For example, the Patriots’ asterisk in the 2014 season would come becuase of “Formationgate.” Some are a bit of a stretch, like the 2007 Giants, who receive an asterisk for “Eligate,” citing Eli Manning’s refusal to go to San Diego after the 2004 draft. Of course, that’s not really cheating, but whatever helps you sleep at night.
