Dustin Johnson kind of blew it Sunday.
Johnson let a realistic shot at the first major championship of his PGA career slip through his grasp when he three-putted on the 18th green and lost the U.S. Open to 21-year-old Jordan Spieth. As hard as it was the endure a defeat in that fashion, it’s worth remembering Johnson’s life isn’t all bad.
The 30-year-old still has a handsome baby son, Tatum, and is married to Paulina Gretzky, who appears to have shed the baby weight five months after giving birth.
This isn’t the first time Johnson has come up short in a big moment, but while some would label him a choke artist, being so close so many times also means he should have other opportunities to win a major in the future. He just has to believe some day he’ll come out on top in golf, as he already has in life.
