Rob Gronkowski does a lot of things really well. Deciphering magic tricks is not one of them.
The New England Patriots tight end recently got to spend time with magician Mat Franco, whose witchcraft and wizardry helped him win Season 9 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
Franco’s own show is debuting Thursday night, and he gave Gronkowski a sneak peek by having him participate in a special stunt. To say Gronk’s mind was blown would be an understatement.
Franco’s magic trick was pretty cool, but Gronk’s reaction to the whole thing was 10 times more amazing.
The fun-loving tight end is skeptical at first, politely playing along when Franco asks for his phone. But the moment his phone starts ringing inside the football, the look on Gronk’s face morphs into bewildered amazement.
Now Gronkowski knows how opposing defenses feel trying to cover him.
