Ageless Ichiro Suzuki Baffles Hitters With Sliders In Pitching Debut (Video)

Ichiro Suzuki is one of the greatest hitters of all time.

His 4,210 combined hits between Japan and Major League Baseball are just 43 behind Pete Rose for the most all time, and the 41-year-old Miami Marlins outfielder has sprinkled in 10 All-Star games and 10 Gold Glove awards for his defense in the process.

But Ichiro did something Sunday that he never had before: pitch.

He surrendered one run on two hits in his inning of work. The Marlins lost to the Philadelphia Phillies, 7-2. Check out more of his outing in the video below.
