Marcus Thornton is starting to find his rhythm in Australia, but one fan Down Under gave him quite the surprise Wednesday.
Thornton, taken 45th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2015 NBA Draft, currently plays for the Sydney Kings of Australia’s National Basketball League. During Wednesday’s game against the Illawarra Hawks, Thornton took a tumble under the basket.

As expected, Thornton was pretty incensed. The culprit went with the bold move of trying to pretend like nothing happened, but since pretty much everyone saw him dump beer on the poor 22-year-old, he soon was escorted out of the building.
For his part, Thornton played it cool after the game.
“It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is and we move on,” Thornton said, via FOX Sports Australia.
