Holly Holm stunned the sports world at UFC 193.
Holm entered the main event Saturday night at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, with a perfect record, but she was going up against UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who had beaten her last three opponents in a combined 64 seconds.
So Holm didn’t stand much of a chance, right? Wrong. She dominated from the start, landing multiple big blows in Round 1 to soften up the now-former champion. Holm eventually finished off Rousey with a devastating kick to the face less than one minute into the second round.
