Adam “Pacman” Jones took the high road Friday after learning that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday’s playoff game against the Denver Broncos.

Jones was adamant earlier this week that Brown faked an injury Saturday night in the closing moments of the Steelers’ AFC Wild Card Game win over the Cincinnati Bengals, saying the receiver deserved an “Academy Award” and a “Grammy” for his performance. The Bengals cornerback now realizes he was wrong and — true to his word — issued an apology via Instagram following Friday’s injury news.

@antoniobrown84 I truly apologize !!!!!! That's my word !!!

Jones said he’d apologize for his acting allegations if Brown ended up missing Sunday’s game against the Broncos. It’s nice to see him honor his promise, even though it doesn’t help the Steelers.
